Tranquil Terengganu

Driving from Penang to Terengganu is certainly a new experience for our family. 7 hours flat... stopping for the loo only. Criss-crossing-Kedah, Perak, Kelantan & finally arriving in Terengganu. My bums were sore from sitting too long but Philip thoroughly enjoyed it. His adrenalin was peaking throughout the drive!!!

The journey was scenic.. thru misty mountain ranges, lakes, thick & verdant cool rainforest.

Terengganu exudes a sense of tranquility. The long stretch of white sandy beach in front of our hotel beckons us daily.

Philip & the kids love it... creating their own masterpiece on the beach.

The only turtles we saw were those printed on T-shirts. To see actual turtles coming on shore, we've to travel further north or south & wait up all nite which we didn't feel like doing. We heard that nowadays, turtle landings are getting less and less. So we opted for the lazy no-frills hols... which is driving around Kuala Terengganu... pottering around the town buying souvenirs and their famous keropok.
