My Soul Shall Find Rest

My soul shall find rest in You alone.
In the quiet of the night
Or in the midst of stormy seas

Lord You are my Rock and my strength
You are my fortress, and I will never be shaken.

After You, will my heart seek.
Only You, can make my life anew.
Trust in You, is all I need to do.
Rest in You, and cast all my cares on You.



No matter what happens, we can be assured of finding rest in God alone. You could be in the midst of a crisis in your life, or facing a problem too difficult to solve, but as you go to God, He will become your refuge and deliverer. We are living in a culture that promotes “doing” rather than “resting”. We keep ourselves occupied with a lot of “doings” in order to look useful and important, but God is constantly waiting for us to rest in Him and be recharged and refreshed. So my friends, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.
