You are here in the midst of our praise.
We are here to sing of Your great love.
I lift up my hands, I raise my voice,
to offer my life to You.
I worship You, hail You as King of kings.
Jesus, Your Name is Wonderful.
Jesus, Your Name is Marvelous.
Prince of Peace, Mighty God,
Author of our faith.
My Saviour, I love You.
This song came when I read the book of Isaiah recently. There was a prophecy about the coming Messiah during Isaiah's time, and according to the Bible, Jesus, the Saviour of the world would be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isa 9:6)
Somehow, these words just leaped out from the page. Wonderful is not those wonderful days or wonderful dress type of wonderful. It suddenly dawned on me that Jesus is WONDER-ful, literally full of wonders and signs, full of unexpected miracles ! This simply means that Jesus can do a total makeover of your life if you give Him a chance. He can give you a life filled with hope and joy. You are no longer a victim of your circumstances.
To all my friends who are reading this blog, if you have yet to know Jesus, now is the time to believe in Him and have a wonder-ful life !
