My Heart Shall Be Holy

My heart shall be holy.
Holy for the Lord.
No evil thoughts no sinful ways
Shall pass through my door.
May the words coming from my mouth,
And the meditation of my heart.
Shall always be pleasing.
Pleasing in Your sight.

Let me be a fragrance unto You.
Daily shall I bring You praise.
Lord I worship You, I adore You.
I glorify Your Holy Name.



I am writing this song to remind myself that I have to be holy for the Lord. God is holy. He does all things well. His ways are proven to be holy, just and perfect. We are serving a perfect God, so naturally we are expected to be holy. The reality is, we often fall short of God’s standard for us in our daily living. I am speaking this for myself. Many times I fail to live up to what God requires of me. I am convinced that as long as I stay close to God, spend time daily with Him, I should be moving closer towards holiness. Let’s stay focus and enjoy His best for us.
