One morning Heather came to me and told me she wrote a song. I was pleasantly surprised. As I look thru the lyrics I understood her heart even more. As parents we are always guiding her in the way of God and it had not been easy on her especially with all the peer pressure she received . However, the Holy Spirit is always teaching her and showing her the better way. This song can only be borne out of the trials she had been thru and as God continues to hone her, she will come forth as pure gold.
This is what she has to say about the song:
“I wrote this song because when we go through tough or difficult times, we must believe and trust God with all our strength, heart, mind and soul.”

Amazing girl. My 11 year old niece is indeed amazingly talented. Bias? I am her aunty, I can say whatever I like. To birth a song and to have the assurance that the Lord is closed to you when you go through bad times are those moments where heaven touches earth. Imagine what songs you would write when you fly with God on that moment when you capture His love for you.
