Open Day Sales

The Annual Open Day Sales of Doreen's school is back again today. This year it is a big event for Philip's Dream Team as all of us were involved. After months of preparation, and relentless all-out effort to make it a success, the sale finally hit the road and it was a overwhelming success in generating funds for the school which caters to the education and training of children with intellectual disabilities. Blessed with a perfect weather this morning, the sales kicked off with a big crowd as early as 7.30am.

Our family was up at the crack of dawn and reached the school before 6am to prepare for the sales.

We (the Tan family & the Law family) manned the Lucky Dip Stall. Business was really good. Our best customers were the Boy Scouts.

It is good to see people from all walks of life getting involved in charity work.

Doing charity in a stylish way

Body painting... roaring business as usual

Business in the 2nd hand clothing stall is booming.

Delicious home-made jams and cakes were on sale.

.

2nd hand items, fruits, and handicrafts were among the many varieties of items sold

Even though we were all flat-out after the sales, we are very pleased to have been involved in a worthwhile cause. To everyone who has helped in one way or another we just want to say a big THANK YOU and may God bless you all for your generous support.

I thought your stall was the most interesting! It rekindled childhood memories of the fun fair. I'm just in awe how you pulled it off.

I noticed Nathan's hair was looking very the 'in' that morning. Now I know why.
